Almost looks like the stars are aligning for this to happen, if EP40 really wants out then a deal for Jack Hughes is semi-realistic, idk what the value of Luke is but I can't imagine that VAN wouldn't try to get both.

New Jersey rejects, I think jack hughes is one of the only actual untouchables in the league. Not nearly enough

Not a chance, Jack is better, younger, and gonna cost 5 mill less a year.

Find 30 mill in value and get back to me (5 mill AAV x6 years)

They're on the same level offensively but Petey plays Selke lvl defense, Jack may have a higher ceiling but he's also made of glass so there's no guarantee he gets there. I'd rather have Pettersson but if he wants out then he needs to be moved.

Jack Hughes has probably the best contract in the league it would be an awful idea to swap him for Petey 1-for-1 when Petey is about to get a huge back of money.
