I don't think the Kings would give that up, Gavrikov is more important if Roy walks.

Hanifin is not on the Kings radar at all. Kings wouldn't call the Flames regarding him unless every team was trying to buy super low on him and trying to get him for dirt cheap. Because the Kings wont give up anything of value for a guy that would either play on the third pairing or push 5.8m down to the third pairing.

Wake up and smell the coffee! As if Hanifin would be 3rd pairing on the Kings.

Clarke and Spence would be terrible partners for Hanifin meaning he would only be able work with Doughty or Roy. Mikey is going to be glued to Drew till Drew retires and if Hanifin got with Roy that means Gavy is going to be with Clarke or Spence. They have been playing Gavy and Clarke together the last 2 or 3 games and they aren't doing too bad however that would mean either Hanifin and Roy would be 2nd pair or third pair to Gavy and Clarke. Either way that's way too much money to be sitting on the third defensive pairing.
