No thanks from buffalo.

Would be the most traded for a goalie in like 30 years.

We have 2 young goalies we like as well. Not worth the cost

there's a fair argument that he would be the most valuable goalie moved in the lats 30 years as well given age and performance. those guys don't get moved.

i guess it's not surprising that the standards in buffalo have drastically fallen off over the last decade. (stunk was certainly hyperbolic, but swayman is worlds better than him of course)

Montour isn't signing in Buffalo though - which is a good thing, cause someone is going to drastically overpay for him.

Don't be too sure. It's an hour from his family. Either him or Roy will want a good contract and half league badly cap hamstrung. Hilarious you have post with Roy signing with Buffalo. You an agitator? Montour worth a big paycheque

Montour played in Buffalo for a couple of years and it didn't work out. Remember? He's also going to get paid based on his flash in the pan year last season. Roy is a much better fit and a much better shut down defenceman

I'll be happy with either. Yes last year anomaly but this year will make him a 6.75 million dollar player but him or Roy improves our back end.
Just because it didn't work out then doesn't mean it won't now and his close family and fanbase will help fill our empty arena.
One of those two aok by me
I think our left side d will make us more palatable to decent right d ufas. Or at least I'm hoping
