What makes me smile is that the "least bad" contract of the bunch this season has been... Armia! Unreal how he looks good reflected in Gallagher, Anderson and Pearson's lack of shine.

Price's contract isnt "trash or useless" it allows us to exceed the upper cap limit by 10.5mil. Alzner's, Edmundson's and Petry's contracts can't be traded cause you can't trade buyout or retained money, so they are what they are and all are off the books by 2025. Pearson's contract expires at the end if the season so again who cares itlf it remains on our books for 4 more months, we aren't making the playoffs so it can just run out. Armia has played well enough in the new year to have gained some trade value back from a contender, we would probably have to take an expiring contract back but he could be traded at the deadline. Dvorak and Allen are expiring at the end of 2024-25 and they both have the potential to bounce back so not that problematic. Anderson could also bounce back next season but he and Gallagher are certainly our worst and most concerning contracts right now but thankfully both aren't too bad of buyouts so either one ( unlikely both get bought out) could be bought out in the summer (probably Gallagher over Anderson though). All this to say that only 12 mil of that 42+ mil is actually hurting us
