Duchesne is not signing that.

No interest in Monahan or any of the UFAs after him.

Not trading Ullmark for that.

I think Monahan at that AAV is a great fit for BOS to add some flexibility with a veteran center who can score 20+ goals. Depends on what BOS does with their bigger needs during the season and offseason to determine cap space for someone like Monahan.

A 2026 1st? How exciting.

Can't see the Sharks doing that.

There have been very few situations where a goalie this good has been traded without the team being in a destitute cap situation. I personally think they try to keep both goalies in 2024.

People talk about goalies being so easy to find, but there are a lot of talented teams with bad goalies.

If they acquire Celebrini …. My belief is they will be looking to trade Hertl. Couture’s contract is basically unmovable without ridiculous retention and insulting offers. They have Will smith who looks great at BC.

If Lysell shows last years second half was a fluke and he’s learned how to properly pace / condition himself, then my guess is San Jose seriously considers this deal. If not, they don’t.

The kid overdid it post COVID. Two WJC’s along with adjusting to a man’s league led to a second half that wasn’t up to par. He’s showing positives now making it look like he wore out last year, but I do wish he’d shoot more.

My guess is we will see him by year end and he could easily make himself not someone Boston wants to trade. I still view him as our second best prospect behind Poitras.

The Kings don't need a goaltender, Talbot is playing better than Ullmark this season.
