How so? We are strapped with huberdeau so we gotta get something out of him. We likely could sign duclair 8x4 or something.

You traded like triple Duclair's trade value for him

Duclair certainly isn't going to cost more than a late 2nd at the deadline

Even a late 2nd only if he catches fire but last few games he’s looking better. Especially tonight!

No I 100% agree he’s likely dealt but he was really good tonight so I hate seeing him in the deals, I need at least a day to enjoy him and Blackwood

Side note, what is it like cheering for the sharks right now. I don’t know many sharks fans.

I’ve been a fan since 95/96 so I watched some bad teams before we drafted Marleau! And I’ve had 2 decades of good teams! I can handle what Grier is doing cause I see his vision and the end result even if it’s rough right now.

Sharks have a solid prospect pool now but we still need 2 Blue chip guys like a C and RD, so if the bad season this year and next gets us to draft Celebrini this year and Hensler in 25 then I can deal cause I see the sharks being better in 25/26 and young talented and deep in 26/27

Celebrini will look good in teal

And Hensler RD from the 25 draft! Add those 2 plus 2 more 1sts in the next 2 drafts and 2 top 40 2nds to their existing prospect pool and sharks will have a very strong young core of players to build around.
Add in the sharks are projected to Cary 40 mil in cap space in 25/26 and the future doesn’t look bad.

I did a 4 part series breaking down the rebuild and showing how they can really build out of this hole. (Called digging)

Duclair isn't worth that.
