Drury isn't working out and Staal provides more of an offensive threat than Drury. Drury isn't a 4C on a championship team. A problem might be a bit of an overstatement but it's definitely a weak point

That's one way to go... go get a legit 3C and have the Staal line be the de facto fourth line. Novak would be a great choice because he still has quite a few miles on his tires

Hard to say. He currently has 9pts in 11 games and makes just above league min. I'd like to see what interest he garners by the TDL if he keeps it up

Ah yes, because a guy isn’t producing offensively and is having some ****ty puck luck, he needs to be shipped out. Guess they made a mistake with Necas, who finished last season with 70+ points, and a mistake with KK, who is already a PPG player so far this season, and is top 20 in league scoring.

My point being, he has only become a regular this season, and he has been very good defensively. In time the offense should come, and that will probably determine whether or not he develops into a Staal or a Glendening type of player. That being said, if his offense doesn’t pick up a little bit by the end of December, if I were Waddell, I would start looking at upgrading from Drury, with a potential saving grace being if he allows his wingers to score more, much like how KK was allowing Svech/Necas and Martinook/Fast to produce more.

I know that he needs more time than he has currently gotten but the Hurricanes are a Stanley Cup Contender who needs effective production from that fourth line which they haven't been getting when Drury is centering that line.
