What are we thinking for mercer's next contract?

Here are some things I see as comparables

Boldy: 7x7
Chytil: 4.4x4
Cozens: 7.1x7
KK: 4.8x8
Zegras: 5.75x3
Verhaeghe: 4.1x3
Buch: 5.8x4
Timo: 6x4
Hagel: 6.5x8

Give him a one year bridge deal, and then when the cap goes up to 91 million, give him another deal with longer term.

Am guessing 2 years around $4m...or long-term between Tippett and Boldy (~$6.4m)

I think we could get him at 6 mill AAV or less on 8 years

Here's the thing. The cap in two years is going to rise to 91 million. Would it work if we gave him a 1 year bridge deal, ensuring that we will sign him again when the cap goes up?
