Lmao a bunch of second rate prospects and a 3rd liner doesn’t even get Laughton let alone TK.

Tk would start with Greig which Ottawa won’t move so there’s no chance TK goes to Ottawa if they decide to trade him.

Jarventie and a 1st in the 15-20 range would already be a massive overpay for Laughton

Yeah notice how I didn’t mention the 1st in that post. Re-read it lol. A 1st for TK is the piece u just auto start with it’s the rest of terrible return that matters.

Yeah I'd absolutely do this deal for Laughton lmfao. I think the deals for Laughton for a 1st in general aren't going to come back to market anytime soon and don't think his usage this year is going to warrant that. Danny probably missed the boat

A retained TK would be amazing, but it is going to cost way more than the Senators are willing to pay at this point. Grieg is absolutely out of the question.

I also don't see the Flyers trading him. It would have been costly for any team in the offseason but right now the Flyers hold him and re-consider at the TDL (if they completely fall off) and if a team goes all-in and offers A LOT.

My guess is it starts with 2 -1st's that they have control of in future drafts. A few other pieces would need to be added. That of course can be debated.

King of bad takes here. Greig currently leads the league in rookie scoring. Over Bedard and Cooley.

Boucher won't be traded until he has a healthy season.

Jarventie would have also made the Sens if they had cap space because he was dynamite in the preseason. He also is a very productive player from the 2020 draft.
He'd be one of the Flyers best prospects instantly and probably be in the NHL on that team.

All for a player that has a year and half left on his contract who is getting a similar return to Chychrun in half developped prospects.

Yup but I have told everyone all summer Danny doesn’t want to move him and nobody listened. I think he re-signs close to the TDL this year or early in the summer and gets an A on his jersey when Coots becomes the C.

Comparing a 2nd pairing defenseman to a 1st line player makes no sense lmao and I’m a big fan of Chychrun I wanted the Flyers to empty the bank to get him. Boucher would be lucky to go in the 4th round of a redraft. Jarventie is nothing extraordinary he wouldn’t even be in our top 5 prospects realistically maybe not even top 10. There’s not a single player he makes the Flyers team over lmao. Brink is right behind Greig that doesn’t mean Brink is the next McDavid.

The fact that you called Chychrun a second line defensemen is ludicrous. He may be a top 20 defensemen in the game. Who had one more year on his contract than Konnecy did when he was traded. He also played over 20 minutes a game in Arizona.

That said King of bad takes

Also I wouldn’t redraft Boucher at this point. He’s looked great when he’s played. He’s just gotten injured way to much to make a judgement on.

Boucher isn’t a 1st round pick probably not even a 2nd he was a reach when he was drafted and hasn’t done anything other than prove them right. This argument is useless anyway, the ask for TK is widely known the Flyers insiders said it all summer and the national guys piggybacked it. This isn’t even half of what Briere wants to part with TK because he doesn’t wanna trade him unless it’s a giant haul. The only way that happens is if it starts with a 1st and Greig and adds. And Ottawa will never do that

I would be very upset if they trade Jarventie for Laughton, so imagine adding a 1st

Knowing that Dorion can't make decisions anymore makes me a bit relieved.

Using logos, that 1st was most likely offered at the deadline from a contender, when most players have their maximal value. It's possible that another team offers another 1st at the deadline, but it's going to be late. No one in their right mind should offer a prospect like Jarventie or a better first for Laughton.

Chychrun a 2nd pairing D-man...

The king of bad takes strike again! tears of joy
