Easy no for the Hawks.

This deal has them adding over $9m to their cap this season and retaining $2.2m for the next two seasons for a late 1st round pick and two 3rd round picks. On top of that they downgrade their D by going from Murphy to Myers, Timmins is a waiver wire caliber player with little or no value and the prospect is C level.

I don't see any reason why any of the other teams would do those deals.

Hawks decline. The only piece in that deal that the Hawks would have any interest in is the 1st rounder. And that doesn't get Murphy w/ 3 years of retention. The rest of that is classic quantity over quality.

If you can't fit a guy making $800k without retention then you have terrible asset management
