CHI is not paying anything for Scandella. I don't even care about "not doing trades with St. Louis". You'd have to pay us to take that contract.

Hawks decline and counter with Scandella and the Blues '25 2nd for future considerations. That's how a cap dump trade works.

Ehh no it is not. You don't get a 2nd for a useful 3M player who is a million overpaid.

I'm fully aware the Hawks are not taking him, I've told people this about 100 times. I was solely commenting on the concept that Scandella would cost. 2nd to move.
