I feel like the Compher signing was just Copp 2.0. A career 30pt guy who overachieved then got his payout.

Agree on the 2C part, but that is where Kasper will slot in after a while.

Ras was starting to break out when put on the wing, before his season ending injury. Will probably play in the top six on either 1LW or 2LW.

Walman is fine as support for Seider. Edvinsson will come in later on LD. Then there's Wallinder and Johansson.

The jury is out on Husso. I'll wait and see what he can do behind a much better defensive team.

They are not competing for the cup this year, but what they lack firepower vs top heavy teams like Ottawa and Buffalo, they make up for with solid defensive players.

The only things I agree on is 2C and *maybe* goalie. With that said, it's completely fine to ride out 2C by committee with Kasper and Danielson knocking at the door. As for Husso, this season will show what he is. At times last season he 100% looked like a true number one, so that's still a very real possibility. Also, we have Cossa coming up there too.

Copp *should* be our 1RW and Walman more than proved he can play 1LD last season, not to mention Edvinsson and Wallinder who both look like they could be studs, not to mention a few other very good looking prospects that could surprise. We are more than set at LD.

Biggest upgrade from last season is the depth. People also seems to forget how bad our team really was for 25% of the games last season - we had about 7 or 8 AHL players in the lineup every game. Now we have actual NHL caliber depth players and many talented prospects in GR that are almost NHL ready.

We also had two of our Top 6F out from the gecko (Vrana, Bertuzzi) + Rasmussen & Fabbri. If we can stay healthy this team should be competitive.
