You have the extra cap room, re-sign Bonino and that'll make this five stars.

I wouldn't want a $6m 3rd line center to block shots ... you need 2 centers to PK and that means putting they body on the line. Especially in the playoffs.

Duchese should move to wing and play top 6 at that dollar salary. Hate to see Rust go in a trade that really doesn't need to be made. He's so versatile and still and RFA they'll be able able to retain for a 3 more years at a pretty affordable rate.

Colorado should love this offer. Haglen could net them some nice pieces as a deadline deal. Rust probably could too, as a 25yr old with 2 cups, and very solid production, that can move up and down the line up and PK. Not to mention 1, potentially 2 1st round picks.

As a Pens fan, I'm praying for JR not even thinking about to trade for Duchene. We DON'T NEED HIM. We can sign one or two bottom six FA fw and that'd be enough. We already have the best offense. We have to worry about our D. It's an inconsistent one on regular season. And Hainsey make it better since he comes to Pitt. That's why I'm a diehard defender to bring him back instead of Daley, for example. In a team with so many offensive weapons, it's pretty important to have at least two "stay at home" d-man. One is Dumo. The other would be Hainsey.
