On second thought....asking for both Wallstedt and a 1st for EK65 is too much. Probably one or the other. Wild unlikely to part with Wallstedt so Sharks would just take the 1st.

Why is montreal paying a 1st to take the worst contract in the league?

Bordeleau is not worth a 1st and fleury is also a dump

This trade does nothing for MTL except remove a 1st from our possession. It's quite easy to pass on this one.

There is no chance the wild trade Wallstedt. It confuses me most as to how San Jose gets this much for a massive cap dump of 2 of the worst contracts in the league (Karlsson on a winning team is not putting up 100 points cause they will actually care about defense too which is where he tends to get hurt)

Lol true. But Wallstedt would actually be awesome. Which is why Minnesota won't do this. I was disappointed when the Sharks disn't draft Wallstedt. Well played, Wild.

At the price you have Kaapo, I would say you should just keep him. He is more of a aggressive goalie, I feel his defense just really let him down a lot last year. As you said earlier, Wallstedt is staying in Minny for the foreseeable future. I'm sure that they really will want him as the #1 when the time comes. Miss Kaapo tho
