Girgensons can easily break 20 pts in better environment. In Sabres he always plays 4th line and PK, with very offensively limited lines mates.

In COL he’d play those same 4th line mins and PK as well…

Then he does not need to break 20 pts in that spot

But COL doesn’t need to trade to fill that spot.. they have plenty of 4th line capable guys, which goes back to my original point, they don’t want/need him, especially if he’s filling that role at a cost of 2.5mil per

He is worth that to Sabres and they have cap space for it. He is not going to get traded.
