Not trying to be rude, but the Leafs would have to say No to that. Martinez is simply not worth JVR. Martinez+ would be a good start.

I think I'd take Muzzin over AMart, but at the end of the day our need is for a RHD, and we definitely aren't getting Doughty. But I wouldn't be upset with Muzzin at the end of the day, to be honest

I'd do Muzzin and the condition 2nd for JVR. We all are looking for that RHD. :-)

Muzzin or Martinez plus a solid prospect or a 2nd rounder+lower prospect, like a Chaz Reddekopp or someone. Realistcally, I do not think a trade is realistic, unless you are willing to part with a triple A prospect; which is unlikely since you guys are a cap-strapped team who are in need of a ELC player to get 40points or more

Not trying to be rude, but you are kinda contradicting yourself here. You say we need a guy on an ELC to put up 40+points but then talk about us trading away our first 1st round pick in 3 years. Again, not trying to be rude.

straight up is great deal for Toronto. JVR is gone at the end of the year.

In regards to what Rmay50 says. The Leafs would want Vilardi. From LA's point of view it wouldn't be a good trade.
