I mean however you justify it, Joseph isn’t really a positive value asset. We don’t need another bottom 6 winger. Either take out Joseph or the retention but the caps would rather get a useful player back.

Players are not batteries with a plus or minus attached to it. They are assets with an AAV valuation (by every team)
