I could knock the team for tossing Reilly Walsh for AHL depth but honestly, between the Toffoli trade, Bratt & Meier extensions and the other auxiliary moves made, this offseason has been nothing if not a homerun for the New Jersey Devils so far.
I still can't believe Tom Fitzgerald is our GM, he's gotta be one of the best executives currently in North American pro sports.

Aw buddy nobody wants Boqvist back, hes utterly useless and totally replaceable. The bottom 6 is earmarked for 2 of Holtz, Foote, Clarke or Thompson

I dont know how you can see those contracts as bad, we've got both for 8 years at below market value so we wont have a ton of trouble resigning L. Hughes and Mercer when the time comes
