You think he would have waived to go there last year or the year before? He won a Cup, his team didn't want to re-sign him and now he's getting paid way out-of-line with his value to help bring the kids along. Now is not then; the circumstances have changed significantly.

Loved EJ with the Avs but that’s an overpay fo sho. I would’ve guessed 1 yr 1m. He’s regressed last couple years.
