i think we're a little light on center here. I also don't know if we will play colton center, i think he might get a chance at 2W and then find his home as a real good 3W for us.

Probably not but the Oil need to move out salary in a bad way. I like Kostin too though if he isn't QO'd

I prefer him at 3C or 3W. Don't think he is a good fit on the same line as RyJo and would prefer to spread out the forechecking to have one really strong forechecker on each line. Lehky-Val-Colton-LOC.

While I do think Colton could handle the second line, I agree that we should spread the physicality, forechecking, and front-of-net play across as many lines as possible. Avs lean very heavily towards speed and finesse, but it wasn't until we had guys like Cogs, Val, and Gabe spread out that we finally broke through in the playoffs.
