Description
1 player from every team I'd target as the Habs. Some of these are quite unrealistic, but it's fun nonetheless. Ice those fingers after all the scrolling I made you do. Happy ACGM-ing

1.
ANA
price shouldn't be that high. There are many promising goaltenders in that Ducks pool, and with Gibson leaving one is bound to move up. Who gets left behind or out of a spot could be a target. (I don't want Comtois)
    2.
    ARI
Dubois may end up being too pricey for the player that he is. Are there cheaper options? If so, I'd encourage the Habs to explore them. Price I would think the Jets wouldn't accept but a Hayton might go for is 2025 CAL+2024 COL+Struble
      3.
      MTL
      1. Locmelis, Dans [Reserve List]
      BOS
I see a lot in Locmelis that could work out. He'd be my target as there are many Bruins centermen ahead if him in their center pool
        4.
        BUF
potentially he finds himself out of a roster spot if the sabres go into finding a big name. Could be low risk high reward
          5.
          CGY
really liked him this year. probably isn't traded now that Sutter is gone.
            6.
            CAR
you all know why Drury is an attractive player. If the rumors are true, I'd bite on him. Canes Habs rivalry is a thing of the Bergevin era.
              7.
              MTL
              1. Kurashev, Philipp [RFA Rights]
              CHI
one of Kurashev, Entwistle, or Katchouk
                8.
                MTL
                1. Newhook, Alex [RFA Rights]
                COL
Love his upside, he might be on the block as the Avs look for another bona-fide top 6 guy. Likely won't happen as the Habs don't have that ready to trade.
                  9.
                  CBJ
It's been talked about, I like him. Price I'd give up is #31ovr, Mesar, PIT 3rd
                    10.
                    DAL
                    1. Edmundson, Joel ($1,750,000 retained)
                    Additional Details:
this type of cap dump/swap with a later pick or prospect. probably unlikely
                    11.
                    MTL
                    1. Bednar, Jan [Reserve List]
                    DET
no1 I really am set on, but I liked Bednar's performances that I've seen

apparently Wild fans don't like his defense. Would take a flyer on him.

Brother the only other goaltender prospect we have is Gage Alexander. If Gibson is traded we are going to need Calle Clang

Guessing Drury will be on the table for any big name the canes would target. If he doesn't get moved for a major forward upgrade, it'll probably be a prospect swap. A young LHD makes the most sense to me.

Harris imo is more valuable(nhl production wise) prospects available would be Engstrom, Struble, Trudeau

Calgary is cap strapped and Ruzicka is making below league minimum, odds of him being traded are pretty much non-existent

You're welcome to Erikson Ek, he likely isn't going to get an offer this year. Best case scenario for him to stay with the club is with the Tulsa Oilers.

You can scratch Locmelis off your list. His had a really good year in Sweden J-20 league and finished 4th in points overall. Represented Latvia at the U-20 WJC and then represented Latvia at the World's where he helped them win a bronze medal. He's also heading to UMass next year, so he'll be right in Boston's back yard, which is by design.

He looks like a guy who could be a rare mid round find. Next year will be a good test for him playing on a smaller ice surface and the Bruins may have a better idea of what he has. For right now I'd think his potential is a middle 6 center. For me that means likely a 3C, but if he takes a significant jump then a 2C could be possible.

One can only hope. Latvian hockey is getting better, and he might just be at the forefront of it.

Very well could be. Playing for the national team at 19yr old makes me think that Latvia feels like he'll be a key piece for them international for years to come. They likely wanted to get him some exposure early to the World's and I think he did well. Obviously 3pts in 9gp isn't going to turn heads, but he played solid and came though in some big moments.

Sean Durzi = Jordan Harris, maybe plus a middle pick.

Eriksson Ek left the Ducks for Sweden and Buteyets is likely not coming to North America, there’s been little to zero talks of him at all
