We certainly aren’t trading Gibby for that return, let alone retaining to get that

RFA deals are all off

Certainly not giving Hill a 5x5

Where is Comer?

If all that Gibson is worth is a future second and an over-the-horizon third, why would you pay $20 million for four seasons of him?

If all that we're getting is a future second and an over-the-horizon third for John Gibson, why would we retain $5.2 million on him?

He has a mild injury history, and travel on the east coast is less taxing. So I don’t know that I would agree with this assessment based on that factor alone. Also Buffalo might have the brightest future of any team in the league, no disrespect to Anaheim.

His entire career has been spent out west, and he's from BC. I dont think he wants to move far away from family and this would be very far.

I get what you’re saying, but I don’t think we can say for sure what he is going to do at this time. Either way, I don’t think a Gibson trade to Buffalo would be in the best interests of the player or team in question.

I dont think so either, and the "rooomer" is the sabres were on his no trade last year. I could see him going to the pens though. Seems like a dubas move and he's from there.

Ducks aren’t retaining Gibson unless they given the Holy Grail of Hockey Trades.

Hill is just another Binnington, a team would be wise to not give him a long term deal until at least a year or two of him staying consistent with the way he’s been playing in Vegas.
