    If we traded him for a pick, it would probably be in 2024. If we moved him this year, it would be in hockey move for dman on short-term deal or maybe defensive 3C.

    The only real cap issues come next year IF schmid turns into a legit starter, and mercer continues to improve and becomes a legit star. I'd prefer they lock them up asap at 9 mill combined on long term deals
