If the Avalanche wanted to sign him to that contract they would have last year... 🤣🤣 He didn't choose the Flames over the Avalanche with the same contract terms, he took the big payday and rightfully so for his family!

Avs were right up against the cap last year. Lost Landeskog for all of next year. If they could have brought back their Stanley Cup winning second line center I am sure they would!

Bonehead Brad really screwed the Flames before leaving! Lost their best player (Tkachuk) and left them with a bunch of overpaid old guys on long term contracts with NM/NT clauses.
