NJ won the season series 2-1-1, although Carolina was better in some key metrics.

Canes are banged up. Devils are much faster than the Isles.

The canes are still fast enough to hang with the Devils and the Hurricanes D-Core is the best left in the playoffs. I mean if the Hurricanes don't get killed on special teams and get okay goaltending they will have a very good chance to win because of how good they are at 5v5

Holtz is playing for Utica.
The way Marino is playing right now, I'd imagine he'd be in top-6.
And I don't think Teuvo is 100%.

Canes have a great chance of winning this series because I went 4/8 in the first round.

Playing even strength has been our strength too.

In the four games NJD played CAR this year, Devils outscored Canes 13-6 at even strength. But CAR had 1 PP goal and 4 short-handed goals (NJ 0 special team goals).
