Why would Chicago trade Lafferty who has another season left on his contract for UFA Namestnikov? They'll likely get a 2nd round pick for Lafferty. He's not a rental.

Can't see the Hawks making the Kane trade. Value is definitely there, but two picks in '24 and the 1st in '25 - just don't see them going for that.

Hawks definitely decline the Lafferty trade.
