Don't think Bertuzzi is available anymore with DET in playoff picture. Also, not sure he's a good fit. Sort of chaotic and we already have Skinner. You can accomodate maybe one of those guys at a time on a team that lives and dies by the rush game the way the Sabres do.

Murphy isn't any better than Jokiharju the way the latter is playing now so pass.

Idk if anyone takes comrie. Just gotta hope he bounces back next year.

Red Wings aren't sellers. They're tied with Buffalo.

How about Olofsson for Zadina and a 3rd?

I can play this game too.

We're tied with Buffalo, So why would we trade Bertuzzi? He's no longer on the market. And anyways we decline.

Of course, follow up a bad trade with a even worse trade.

No some are good for both teams, some are slightly skewed to one team or another d some are bad. Alot depends on what each team is looking for a d wants. Wings get a failed prospect a d a 3rd for a player who might or might not be resigned. But if he is put on the trade block I presume that the return is better than this pathetic post.

They may work out to be mutually beneficial over time, but purely by definition all trades are zero sum. Like nobody in the NHL makes a deal because they have the other teams best interest in mind. The ROR/Tage trade is a good example of that.

Doug armstrong absolutely did not imagine Tage scoring more than 20 a season in the NHL. He 100% made that deal b/c it was a steal for him to get ROR in his prime without giving up Kyrou/Thomas. Tage had a miraculous dev curve so it has now worked out to " a win for both teams" but that is not how it started.

Especially in division trades, should they ever happen. Im not dealing with DET so we can both help each other. Imma rip that mfer Yzerman off senseless if given the opportunity lol.

Doesn’t look like Detroit fans are on board with that trade,
but it was an interesting idea

I think I’d rather trade for McCabe at this point than Murphy
Shoring up that 3rd pair is of more importance imo
I think the top 2 pairs are fine
