NYR being out on Kane now was my first thought. Lou won't give a **** compared to the other GMs in my opinion. As long as Kane would waive to come here I think we will have our hat in the ring

I mean wait. Chicago fans wanted Kakko/Laf or chytil. So wouldn't it be Dobson + wahlstrom?

Do you expect him to be when he's hurt and playing on a minor league team? Im a Hawks fan so I watch every game. He's obviously not as great as he could be when 100% healthy but every game he creates dangerous opportunities and would really help a good team. If he played with top 6 NHL guys, he'd have a point per game

He’s just not playing well. Injuries tend to happen with older players. I wouldn’t be interested in him if i was a contending team. Maybe carolina, but outside of that I’d just let him wither away in chicago.

Theres no guarantee you're getting a top 6 guy anymore. and to give up a big haul for a guy who definitely can't play defense, requires the powerplay to generate points AND is going to walk as a UFA?
Im glad the rangers made the move they did.
