As a CBJ fan, this is a no. Your overpricing Kovy. The CBJ would not give up a very valuable player in Murray for a guy who the Jackets are taking a gamble on.

Ok just heard a couple reports about CBJ having some interest wanted to use this as a starting point.

Now, if you subtracted Milano and kept everything from New Jersey then the Jackets might go for it.

Kovy IS a first line winger, who will most likely put up 60 pts.
It's fine you don't want him, but our hope is Shero does not give him away and apparently there is interest.

Yeah, there is no way Shero is going to give him away. 100% agree. However, defensemen have more value than forwards. Kovy will be 35 at the start of next season. Murray will be 24. Murray still has potential to be a top 2 defenseman and already is a very good top 4 on most teams. Jackets are also assessing a huge risk because of Kovy's past of bolting. They would need to be compensated further.
