Anyone think that instead of getting a 1st and Sam Bennet the kings trade Brown? Maybe at retained salary if nessecary?

The reason why the Kings haven't already unloaded Brown and retained salary is because his contract still has 5 years left. That's a long time to be retaining salary especially the amount they would have to retain to ship him out.

Now for the trade, I'd do that any day. I watched Parsons play a little bit in the World Juniors against Canada and Russia, and he was a brick wall back there. Played great. And not to mention he is American which makes me like him more (no offense to Canadian people). And this trade could work for both teams but I think if it were to happen the Kings would have to sign some immediate help in the net, because I think Parsons is just a year or two away.

I agree. One of the goalies in Dallas could work. They are one last year deals. Also time to see what Jack Campbell can do.
