I think Nashville would balk at that trade, but personally I love it...

NSH will go 8-1 and lose one of Jarnkrok Smith or Wilson. Trading Josi for Nelson does NOTHING for them with that in mind so not good value. Especially with the ridiculous contract Josi is signed to

Even if they go 4-4-1 trading a d-man lets them protect Smith, Wilson, and Neal, though i don't think that defenseman is Josi, and they could definitely get more than a good 2nd liner/not the best 1st liner. Nelson is good and could be a 1st liner, butt either way, he's not as good as Josi i'd have to say. If NYI wanted Josi, I don't even know if Hamonic+Strome+Pulock+Barzal+1st would be enough, though that would get Nashville to consider it, even if it didn't get a deal done.
