I don't think so because if the Kings are going to trade for Evander Kane I am under the assumption that they are still in win now mode. It doesn't make sense for them to get rid of their best goal scorer for Danault, who only scored 13 goals, Carr, who was back and forth between St. Johns and Montreal, and the picks.

I'm not taking into consideration the trades above. The Kings as they are at the moment would you consider this trade from MTL.? Imo if I'm the kings I'm trading Carter or Kopitar, cause they're older but still have value. Brown or Gaborik aren't going anywhere unless you attach some drafts with them to sweeten the deal for whoever is gonna take them. Lombardi was a genius but that Brown contract is treacherous. Carr just never really got a real shot, just like andrighetto, who tore it up in COL after the Habs traded him. Everyone in MTL thinks that carr is a better player than Andrighetto. Danault won't put up the goals that Carter did but he's still better than LAs 3rd and 4th line centers. 9 yrs younger than Carter and 4 mill cheaper

Really the only thing that entices me on this deal would be the draft picks. It gives the Kings options. With the extra first they can dump off Brown to someone (hopefully) without trading away their future. You have me caught in between on this deal. I think the value is there but I still don't see it happening. This is only my opinion but I think the Kings can still win with this group, they just need the shakeup in the coaching and front office and trade either Martinez or Muzzin for a scorer. I'm going to politely decline you here.

By you giving Brown to Vegas with that habs 1st rounder you can use that cash to either sign Oshie and then perhaps trade danault and/or muzzin/Martinez to COL for duchene

I would give up Martinez for Kane, even though he is a trivia answer to "who scored the Stanley Cup clinching goal in 2014."

I would also get rid of Nolan, Greene and Clifford for late round picks.

If they trade Gaborik over Martinez it would be a good trade because i dont think they can handle the salary
