The ducks trade is alright I find. They get a lot of picks and a serviceable bottom six and a great defence prospect they also clear cap, vatanen won't play till at least February so they won't get much of a return and I doubt they'll be able to protect silfv also it's a good trade oilers move up and get there serviceable third line centre nuge goes home to play for his province plus they're in rebuild they could use young talent

The WSH trade is fair, I just would like to see more 2017 picks rather than future picks. But that's just me. Also, the caps would need some expansion eligible goalie to expose for them to not have to leave Holtby unprotected.

Van won't trade the 5th overall pick for RNH. RNH is not that much of an upgrade, but is paid way too much. Both are average players, no real advantage to Vancouver making this trade.

The trade VAN would't be smart for either team... The only way I see this trade making sense is if VAN was a contender and EDM was still rebuilding... Since it is the exact opposite it doesn't make much sense to me

RNH is a HUGE upgrade over sutter.. edmonton shouldnt even be giving up a first rounder in this deal. Sutter's contract is awful
