Dylan Strome doesn't take a cut like that to play behind Stastny. Puljujarvi likely would want a trade after a year if he doesn't play in the top 6. No reason to sign Lankinen with Kallgren/Woll since you will need the cap to trade for another goalie most likely.

Easily in the top 10 for most ridiculous posts I’ve ever seen on this website. That says a lot considering an awful post is posted every five minutes or so on this website

Depends on how bad Strome wants to play for his home town team. Takes a 1 mil discount to raise his value in the spotlight of Toronto. Easy fix for Puljujarvi and Strome ice time issues ..
Run Strome-Tavares-Puljujarvi and Kerfoot-Stastny-Nylander as the 2nd and 3rd lines.

And Edmonton trades a 2nd line defensive winger for a defenseman who wouldn't crack their lineup because?????? Also good luck getting into the playoffs with that goaltending

Comrie put up good numbers behind and awful defensive team last season. I like this signing. Lankinen not so much. More work would need to be done to get a goalie.

Why do people keep moving Kampf from the 3rd line center? He proved last season he is a great shutdown guy taking almost all d-zone faceoffs and was still a +12. I don't see any reason to sign Strome a soft playing forward with 11 hits last season. The leafs need some physical role players and Strome, Stastny and Jesse P. are the kind of additions the leafs are not looking for. imo
