I think Ottawa takes this. They’re probably reaching on someone anyways

I'd rather keep Stolarz and 10OA than have Murray and 7OA

If we do trade Gibson we just resign Stolarz

Only way I'd consider it is if either Jiricek/Nemec or Cooley fell to 7 (unlikely). Otherwise, I'm likely swinging with one of Gauthier/Kemell/Lekkerimaki at 10.

I think that it all depends on (1) how the scouting staff rates Kemell, and (2) whether he'd still be available at #7, or that the guy that the scouting staff covets is.

as @Lenny7 said, I'd only be comfortable doing this if Nemec/Jiricek falls I think the forwards from 7-about 16 are pretty similar to me

Sens should take this, not sure if it's worth it for the Ducks unless there's a specific guy from the 7+ range that they're really zeroed in on making sure they get. Like if they REALLY like Kemell and aren't willing to risk him not being there at 10 or whatever

With Gauthier generating a lot of hype at the combine there's a decent chance that he's the #6 and Kemell is there at #7. But that said, I've always be wary of Kemell for reasons I can't really explain. He just doesn't feel like the right pick to me. Much rather have any of Savoie, Lekkerimaki or Nazar and one or all of those guys could/should be available at #10. It'll be really interesting to see which of these guys the Ducks' scout like.

The Ducks pick is kind of an odd one in the sense that in like 20 mock drafts I've seen people "in the know" make not a single one of them has the Ducks taking the same player. It's really all over the place and as said the gap from player #6 to player #20 is so close.

I’d do this if ANA could flip 7OA to Philadelphia for 5OA assuming that Wright, Slaf, Cooley, and one of the RHD go in the top 4. ANA can grab a big RD (which Philly doesn’t need), so Philly can address a position of need while barely moving back, especially with ANA grabbing a RD.

Both of The Athletic guys have us taking Kevin Korchinski, whom I like (a lot) at #22.

A D-man at #22 makes a ton of sense. I'd be thrilled with Korchinski with that pick.
