Pretty sure Petan is exempt from expansion anyways. Love everything about the lineup except that Chiarot is on the 2nd pairing with Buff. Chiarot is one of the worst possession defencman in the entire NHL and asking him to be defensive and make up for Buff's lack of defense will mean missed playoffs again for the Jets. Jets will get an upgrade at LHD through trade of UFA IMO. Love the Nilsson signing as he's cheap and posted just as good numbers as any of the starters available on a shitty Buffalo team which means he might actually improve on the Jets instead of regress #'s wise.

Why are people protecting Copp over Dano? Dano is younger and has produced more at the NHL level.

Why are people (you) so high on Dano? If you take away the 21 pts in 35 games he scored for Columbus in 14-15 he has only produced 23 points in the 78 game since and has for the most part not looked very good.

@scarbrow yeah I definitely agree about chiarot, don't know what I was thinking there haha. I've also never seen poolman play so who knows if he will make the team but it would be him and chiarot battling for the 6 spot (poolman on the left with Myers?) . I didn't go to one moose game this year either so that Lemieux on the team is a huge question mark... might as well give him a shot over Tanev is my logic.
