Do you have any interest in Tyler Bozak?
Depends on his cap hit and what you want in return

He's making a little over 4 million for one more year. In return, I'd want a decent prospect

Kesler+
For
Teuvo and Stastny
The + would also need to have a decent sized contract to even out the caps.
Stastny is good, but he has a large salary(and he has one year left) so he doesnt have much value in my eyes

I don't see much value in losing 2 2C's for another 2C. Sorry

He's too expensive to have on my third line. I'd prefer if we could do this around a winger or prospect package

Don't think I can make this work then........What would a deal around Malkin and Matthews sound like?

It would sound like you adding something that you probably aren't willing to add. I'd need Mantha and more to even consider it, which I'm sure you don't want to do

Don't think I can make this work then........What would a deal around Malkin and Matthews sound like?
It would sound like you adding something that you probably aren't willing to add. I'd need Mantha and more to even consider it, which I'm sure you don't want to do
So your saying that you'd want Malkin (who is 14th in points per game in NHL history) AND Mantha, AND something else????

I know it's a lot, but I'm a die hard Leafs fan so I have some bias there. Plus Matthews has a lot more years left than Malkin has. I'd only trade him if I knew I was getting the better end of the deal by far

I mean Malkin + is a possibility, but I'd have to think on what the + is, Mantha would most likely not be included.

I really don't want to trade him, so it'd have to be something I can't refuse for me to think about it
