      Evander Kane is really building his value. Great on the powerplay and the penalty kill. Put together a rather nice second half of the season. If he can just get his head a bit more in the game, and turn his harsh attitude into a competitiveness he will be really good. That being said, I agree with trading him. While the Sabres are towards the end of a rebuild, they don't really need his style of play as much as a solid defender.

      Both are on 1 year contracts going into next year, and Buffalo is retaining the difference.
