I don't see it happening I actually think it would set us back more than we already are.

I agree, what do you think of the other deals, I think my ANA is an overpayment on their side.

I think it's probably fair but I don't know that Anaheim makes a splash that big in the midst of a cup run. Maybe offseason without vanek and a lower pick. I think probably could get more for sheahan in spite of his bad year. The only way I see is getting players today is maybe a d prospect in return for vanek or a low risk low consequence trade such as sheahan for lazar or something along those lines (I like lazar a lot unlike most) but something like that. Otherwise I think it's just draft picks

Yeah it looked like he was merely speculating on it, Doubt we've what Sakic would want for Duchene unless a 3rd team got involved Nyquist and DeKeyser as the center pieces doubt that cuts it and from Detroit's perspective that's far too much too give up for Duchene we need to rebuild here and you're giving up far too many good pieces in these trades that we can't afford to make.
