Dallas accepts immediately.

Not sure why Vancouver does this though. Dallas sheds a little cap & moves up in the draft, and I don't see Vancouver forfeiting a 1st Round Pick just to get Seattle to take Eriksson

Van would do it if Seattle would. Not sure Big D wants to move up at this cost.

Dallas accepts. Gives us a better chance at McTavish.

Best case scenario, 3M+ cap space with a decent centre and Van drops a BIG anchor.

Some one from Dallas suggested this , they wanted Johnston.

That could work too.

At 9, McTavish should be worst case scenario. Ideally at 9, you're looking at Kent Johnson (most realistic IMO), Dylan Guenther, Brandt Clarke, or William Eklund still being on the board, depending on how the first 8 picks shake out.

Out of all of them I’d go for Guenther best case scenario. I know our RHD depth is lacking, but I’d really rather have Guenther than Clarke.
