They need to go all in now,then rebuild in 2 years.

But they aren’t that close anymore. They are still good but a lot is only getting worse in the next two years. Going all in will mean their rebuild lasts far longer and they likely won’t have much to show for it

Not quite the same. The sharks didn’t have a slow decline. They went from sniffing the cup to terrible in one year, partially because they inked Karlsson.
