That what I thought, but Calgary did it last summer wit Michael Stone. Bought out his 3.5m contract and resigned him to a 700k contract a month later

Yeah I remember that, that was weird. They bought him out in like July and then brought him back a couple weeks later. No one batted an eye it was strange
