vegas didnt want to move glass for mark stone if that helps give you an idea of how much vegas likes him

this is just awful and no one is taking that MAF contract without serious payback the other way. Even retained.

Pens pass on the buffalo deal. They laugh and hang up on Calgary there. And they easily say no to the Vegas trade. Vegas is willing to trade a 2nd and retain fleury just to get rid of him. No need to pay for him.
I’d be ok with fleury at 50% retention and a 2nd for DeSmith and Bjorkvist.
Letang better be returning Monahan or Gaudreau, not bennett.
And there is just no reason to trade Zucker.

wha... what did i just read. You want to move the penguins best puck moving Dman, for a young unproven 3C, sign a stay at home 30yr old Dman, give up a sold winger the pens traded for last year for a stay at home dman. Also as noted about Vegas won't move Glass.

Makes the Pens worse.
