You don’t think if Stecher was a good partner for Hughes Vancouver would keep him? Why would he work with Rielly any differently

I think Vancouver isn’t keeping him for cap reasons. They’re gonna have to ship out a lot of money to Pettersson and Hughes in the next couple of years

the main reason Vancouver moved him was primarily money. I could see Stetcher and Rielly working out. Heck fun fact Hughes-Stetcher did better statistically than Hughes-Tanev. No joke lul.

close, apparently Tanevs playstyle is apparently not suited for Hughes. Its strange as offensive Dman usually want guys like Tanev and yet Hughes did better with no joke Myers than stetcher than he did with Tanev. Someone who is a canucks fan explained it to me but cant remember all the words or stats to explain it better than this
