Trust me as a pens fan whos team last year went from being out of the playoffs to the stanley cup. There is alot of time to turn the tean around. Remember decemver last year? People were actually serious about trading sid and some people even thought that they couldnt even fetch a 1st for him. People are easy to throw teams under the bus cause nobody except for a select few have loyalty to one team. The rest are just bandwagoners that like having chamionships.

I 100% agree with you.. everyone goes through slumps.. and yeah pittsburgh is a prime example that they can still turn it around after a shitty start... I hate bandwagoners. stick to 1 team and be loyal.. the hawks currently have 6 rookies on the roster... theyre going through another big retool, going to take time to get chemistry and find their games together

The PIT story last year is at least relevant, yes. My previous posts have said similar things to this extent regarding even vets need time to mesh...The Hawks have rookies. Schmaltz looked like more of a factor with Kane and Toews with Panarin should get more TOI in my opinion. The NASH game was better overall. Hard to say this next thing, but it almost looks like Campbell lost a step from the 82nd game last year to the 1st two this year. This too could be time needed to gel. Still a great pick up even if he doesn't adjust. With all that said...I could see the other PIT story coming true as well. Going a few years between Cups because Sid, Malkin, and Letang took up significant cap hits. Sound familiar? Let's see what Bowman does. They clearly need some possession play. On the bright side, Kempny looks like a stud in the making. Maybe they can get him on the power play and crank up the stats for a trade...or big D move??? That would be a tough move to do though...all NMC...and frankly...I'm not sure I'd want that anyone. the D was a huge problem last year and I think that's been more than solved for this year.
