roster prediction from what I have seen in pre season so far

Created by: Blackhawks95
Team: 2016-17 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 1, 2016
Published: Oct. 1, 2016
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
From what I have seen and heard is that Schmaltz does not seem ready, I think he will for sure either start the year for a couple games with the Hawks or will be in rockford and be a call up for injury replacement. I think Forsling also gets a chance and then sent to sweden if they feel like thats better for him than to have him as an 8 dman. Motte is a lock to make the team as he looks the most ready and plays the style Coach Q wants, and I think Kero and Hartman make the team as 4th liners. Hartman replaces the grit we lost with the shaw deal and has a bit more offensive upside, Kero is an unreal Penalty Killer, and Vinnie makes the team cause he's fast, got some scoring upside and would fit great on the 3rd line

I'd swap Campbell and Kempny. Campbell was the #2 for Florida last year and he's played with Hammer before. Also, Kempny is still adjusting to NHL size rink and well America in general. I could see him and Gustav for the first 6 games and then him and either TVR or Rosi. I'll agree that Kempny is well on his way because he looked like the lone bright spot on the Czech defense in the WCOH which is NHL size and in Canada. Just a little more time. HOWEVER, I think Q roles all three lines more evenly than he's ever done before so It won't be a big deal at all. Side note, With the addition of Kempny and Gustav...think they trade away Pokka and Svedberg?

Pokka might be of interest to another team but Svedberg seems to only be a marginally NHLer.

Id like to see them wait and give pokka a chance next year before trading him, but i would love to get rid of svedberg, but there aren't going to be many takers unless the hawks add something appealing to go with him

I certainly am a proponent of utilizing LHD-RHD pairs as much as possible. Having already lost Johns and Paliotta last year, and with the prospect of not protecting TVR, I would rather keep Pokka as well.

What if you could get a decent young LWer in return? I'm definitely not saying give him away for nothing. They still have Gus and a few others developing for the future.
