Is there a reason Dobson only played 34 games in the regular season and no games in the playoffs so far then? Even Andy Greene is in the lineup over him and Boychuk most likely would be too if he wasn't injured.

because Barry trotz refuses to trust rookies. This isn't new - look how he handled vrana, Filip forsberg, Nate Schmidt in the past.

Dobson was the 2nd best offensive play driver on D and 3rd best defensively while playing his offside with one of the worst defenseman in the NHL (boychuk)

probably a 1 for 1. I don't see the leafs moving nylander after trading Kapanen though.

you never know. Dubas surprised people today and he said he wasnt done and called out the other teams saying if u got a muzzin like player or in general a top 4 defenseman im open to listening on a deal. So if Islanders called and made this deal i could see it happening.

I doubt isles and leafs are trade partners this offseason. If they are it is not in any way this type of trade or any mentioned above. But it's hockey who knows
