I was afraid they will completely mess with it, but Logo is really badass combo......seems Seattle is rolling on Fashion Terms step ahead of all others ( same as in NFL )

Not my favorite name. I was really hoping for "Sockeyes", with salmon pink alts. Sure, it's stupid, but it'd be a power move. Something about it just screams "screw you, we'll pick whatever logo and jersey colors we want". Ah well.

Anyways, I think Kraken is a stupid name that will grow on everyone pretty fast. I personally like the name BECAUSE it's stupid. I think the jerseys are cool, but I was hoping for more red highlight than what they gave us. Or at least make the red line on the jersey a bit thicker. The logo is already one of the best in the league. It kind of reminds me of the Chicago White Sox logo, but with a lot more intent and personality. The colors of the logo even compliment the colors of the jersey very well: mix of light and dark blue with just a hint of bright red. In short, it's the sleekest design you could get out of the name "Seattle Kraken".

So sick. Love everything about it. Cultural significance: First mention of the mythical kraken was in a Seattle newspaper in 1800s. So cool. As intimidating and fun as a team name could be. Anyone who doesn't like it hates fun.
On twitter they broke down the little details of the logo too, check it out if you haven't, the branding is starting out unbelievably well.

Yeah, at first I was not sure about the name but with the explanation that they gave, it makes 100% senses now.

As a graphic designer, the logo/jersey/color schemes is excellent. All in all, a great job.
