I don't think Carolina does that. Mckeown is blocked by a good Carolina RD, but he's going to be an NHL Player. I don't know if
Bracco ever will be.

I feel like Carolina wouldn't be aganist moving McKeown. Even if he did make the NHL roster next year he will still only be the 7th or 8th defenseman behind Slavin, Hamilton, Skjei, Pesce, Gardiner, Fleury and Bean. Plus, Carolina has Forsling and Kaski too. If they believe Bracco could bounce back or even if Toronto adds a late pick I could see them making this trade.

Larsson will cost much more than that.

I was just going by the report that 3rd and 4th line players were going to be forced to take deals closer to league minimum. Maybe Larsson takes a two year deal with the Leafs and hopes for a bigger payday at its end.

I will be shocked if Larsson gets under 2 million a year

I think Carolina would be open to trading him, but Bracco isn't a good target, in my opinion.

It was a bit of a stretch and hopeful thinking. Anyone else could be signed to replace him. Maroon, Nieto, Pitlick, Blackwell.

Pretty sure Montreal would decline as well. Juulsen is still an injury risk, but if he is able to get back to his pre injury ways can possibly play on 2nd and certainly 3rd pairing D. A 3rd pairing RD is more valuable then a 4th line center who would be rotating regularly with the 13th forward on the team.

Forsling is heading to the KHL, McKeown will likely be in the NHL for Carolina next year as the 3RD after TVR Vatanen and Eddy leave, Carolina can't give him up for this. Bracco is a long shot at this point, I don't know if Carolina can do something involving McKeown right now, mainly because his value is going to sky rocket next year if he plays

As far as I know Juulsen’s health isn’t an issue and he should be good to go. He will be more valuable to the habs than a fourth liner. Gauthier seems like a bust and before his injury Juulsen was developing into a solid young D.

Montreal isn't really interested in Gauthier. We already have our 4th line center in Evans, at worst we bring back Thompson. Juulsen proved he's a solid 3rd line defender.
