My main objective when I did this was to add two top 4/5 defencemen (DeMelo and Walker) and keep status quo at the 3C position skill wise to Kerfoot (Lizotte) all while having a 23 man roster.

DeMelo's only 26 so this will put him at 33 when the deal ends, therefore not too too old. I gave DeMelo 7 years to get his cap hit below the 4 million aav some other team may offer him.
